Description: Early Readers are stepping stones from picture books to reading books. A blue Early Reader is perfect for sharing and reading together. A red Early Reader is the next step on your reading journey. Horrid Henry hates car journeys - especially when it means going to visit Prissy Polly and Pimply Paul, and missing Rude Ralph's birthday party. Watch out, Mum and Dad, because Henry is prepared to do whatever it takes to get out of this trip. Review: My 8 year old son struggles with reading, but these Early Reader Horrid Henry books are brilliant. Since he's been reading them he has come on leaps and bounds and actually enjoys reading them rather than it being a chore. They are the same as the other Horrid Henry books but have larger text and more pictures which seems to keep his attention longer. My 6 year old son loves them also, reading them with ease, and taking them to bed with him to read alone. Francesca Simon deserves a medal for what she has done for reluctant readers!

Review: My 5yr old is just getting into Horrid Henry. I was hoping this would be a good learning tool as he's learning to read. He's a pretty good reader & breezes through all the 'Floppy' books. Unfortunately while this is good, it's still way too advanced, so would recommend probably for a Year 2 child, rather than Year 1. I'd also like to see something along these lines under the manufacturer's description just as a guide to parents.
