Review: Creo que este libro debería titularse "Tipos de patrones geométricos" en lugar de "Cómo hacer patrones de repetición". Personalmente como artista y diseñadora, no encuentro ninguna utilidad a saber cómo se llaman las combinaciones posibles de rotar, girar y reflejar elementos, sobre todo porque estas cosas se estudian en la primaria. Así que este libro me ha parecido bastante poco útil. Y tampoco creo que le pueda ser útil a ningún arquitecto como promete el título, ya que estudian suficiente geometría. Por el título pensaba que enseñaría a realizar patrones de un modo estético, pero lo último por lo que parece preocuparse el autor es por la estética. Sin embargo hace tantas combinaciones de traslación de elementos que resulta repetitivo y además, no estoy de acuerdo con algunas explicaciones. La última parte del libro, que enseña a hacer patrones tipo Escher, me parece un poco más interesante.
