Review: This is not a reader for 5-year-olds. And I have far better books of children's poetry than this one. I feel that it is written to be fun for adults to enjoy reading to children. The ones about family celebrations were in fact rather nice and did speak to little ones I thought. I didn't find it awful and some of the poems were ok. But for me it is no classic, and again this is much too difficult to read for most 5-year-olds.
