Review: As an adult I'd like it more detailed but then it would have to be a really thick book. It gives the overall info but I don't find it a useful study tool. I bought for my daughter to encourage learning but find it doesn't cover enough but as a pick up, interesting book then yes worth having.

Review: I expected this Encyclopaedia to be in line with the times, but it lists 'meat and dairy' as good sources of protein, which is an old-fashioned model as it turns out that a plant-based diet contains enough protein and is healthier. I'm afraid this edition is not what I had in mind for my grandchildren, who are forming their view of the world today. I gave it two stars because illustrations are very good.
