Review: I bought this for my son. Despite the picture showing it to be green, when it arrived it was bright shocking pink - my son was not impressed. However, we could have got past the horrid colour, except for the fact that the stories were no good and there were only three of them. A panda who is brought home by Daddy and eventually the family dump at the zoo as they discover he is after all not suitable to live with them as he's too big...mmmm... not the best message to be giving children about family pets. The second is a crocodile called Nigel who gets a cherry stone stuck in his teeth - it could have been good but it kind of falls flat. The last story is short and is about a penguin family. The 2 penguin children have a bath and splash the water out..that's it. Nothing else happens. Unfortunately I felt this book was a waste of my money which surprised me as I would have a high regard for Ladybird books. I will be very careful before I buy another Ladybird again.
