Review: I can't really write much in this review without spoiling the many twists this story takes. If you read the first book, this sequel is everything you could have wanted. It was unexpected, heartfelt, dramatic, and comforting. I have a feeling I will be rereading this series in times of turmoil in my own life. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who likes sci-fi fantasy, fairytale retellings with a dark twist (it is the little mermaid, if you didn't know, the REAL little mermaid story, that is, not Disney's), a touch of horror, a dance around thriller concepts, and genuine connection between characters holding it all together. When you get through the plot of the story, there is also a string of epilogues that follow that are pure fluff from a variety of the story's characters. Don't miss out on this truly unique tale! It will melt your heart!
