Review: I like these series, I think they’re well written with lots of detail and clearly well thought out story. I skipped to this as I wasn’t particularly interested in Butch’s story - and I don’t think I missed anything by doing that. It’s definitely worth a read but not as good as the first 3 books. I didn’t find the main couple had as much chemistry and it felt harder to buy into everything that happened. The author focused so much on other characters stories - it took away from who the book was actually about. I don’t feel like I know as much about the main characters, their getting together felt rushed. ***some spoilers ahead*** I also really didn’t like the ending, I thought what happened to Jane just felt really weird and considering this is already a book about vampires - it felt really unbelievable. I didn’t like it.
