Review: Can’t recommend it enough, Both my niece (2YO) and daughter (3YO) love this book as it’s so easy for them to understand from other countries with really engaging drawings! I keep buying it as a gift for friends and family and they all love it, their kids get curious about other cultures in their very own way.

Review: After spending much time researching children's atlases I finally settled on this one as it seemed to be the most comprehensive and I liked the illustrations. I received it today only to find that the majority of the 66 countries represented are ethnically white, Western countries. In the table of contents you can see that nearly all of North America, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, and Oceania have a place in this publication. However most of Africa (the world's second largest continent AND the continent with most countries) and the Middle East have been ommitted. 25% of world's population is Muslim and yet there is no Saudi Arabia, the birthplace of Islam. No Central Asia either for that matter. I was looking forward to enjoying this book with my 6yo to pore over the maps of all the countries he he identifies with thanks to his mixed heritage, however we won't be able to do that with this book. It's now on its way back to Amazon.
