Review: Along with Robert Sabuda, Matthew Reinhart has been re-defining what a pop-up book can be for the modern audience. His latest release through the Abrams Books for Young Readers imprint has *massively* impressed this young reader. Sure, I could use a lot of words to impress you with my knowledge of and long love for pop-up books, like 1253’s Chronica Majorca by Benedictine monk Matthew Paris or Apianus' Cosmographia from 1524. We’ve come a very long way from the first movable paper books in America, the McLoughlin Brothers Showman Series from the 1880s. But very few human experiences can compare with the fantastic final pop-up in Reinhart’s new book when Galactus himself arises to confront you! Worth the price of admission on its own! Each pop-up display spread also has several other features that transform or pop-up themselves. Good-gosh-amighty, this book is packed with pop-ups! The physical production of this book must’ve been a nightmare. It is more complex than a loaf of bread, and slightly less complex than the Webb Space Telescope. You read it here first! When this print run is sold out, the price of this book will skyrocket on the collector’s market. It’s that good. This is not investment advice, but the current price is a steal! You’ll thank me later.

Review: I get good quality PopUp books for our Grandchildren and Great Nieces and Great Nephews since their Births. They are avid readers now and their parents say the pop ups are responsible for encouraging their love of books
