Review: I loved the mister men/little miss books as a child so was really excited to read this to my 3 year old. Unfortunately there are so many characters in this book, each introduced really quickly and then gone again that my daughter and I found it quite confusing and difficult to follow. My daughter kept pointing to characters wondering who they were, and in some instances the characters weren't introduced in the story (for example, mr bump and Mr messy appeared on a page but weren't referenced in the text, bringing up lots of questions from my daughter). Its years since I read the books myself so am not familiar with the characters, so I ended up having to Google them to find out so I could tell her! It would be good to have a reference page at the back with all the characters and their names like they used to have in the individual character books. Because there are so many characters (and some look nearly identical to one another so are easily mistaken), I feel this is probably a book for mr men/little miss fans who know the books and characters well.
