Review: I'm supposed to only use the library... but this was so good I HAD to buy a copy to keep. It really is one of the best childrens books I've read in years. Completely original and genuinely funny for parents and kids. I've recommended it to so many people already.

Review: Books are quite subjective I guess but in our opinion this kids book is dreadful alas. Think of any random word that rhymes with baguette...and it will be in there regardless of what relevance to the plot (?) it has. Slightly suspicious the other (admittedly very small selection) reviews think this is great and the ‘story’ is touching.. The book plods on and on but these people are soo wrong! We all love rhyming books, with clever moral hooks, but reading this one is pain-full as the rhymes are this dread-full. Sorry for that, but at least now you know roughly what to expect!
