Review: Lots of feelings bunched up together. Doesn't really have a story line just bits of blobs unclear as to what is happening, end was weird I expected Dylan to be with MAX at the end, and for it to carry on with MAX leading the new civilization. Disappointing that it didn't do that because I would like to see how Max cope with this new world, if James Patterson is reading this then maybe do another book but try to make Fang start to obsess about Max needing to look like Meja, Max then leaves Fang and goes with her perfect other half. Great use of emotional language didn't cry I ain't no girl, tree house stuff is call and one final thing what actually fell from the sky.

Review: I just wanted to say, having read all the other books in the series over the past 7 years, I was expecting an amazing finale in terms of this final book. Despite the fact that the last couple did seem to be heading downhill in terms of plot substance, I held out hope that this last book would redeem any misgivings I had. The fact is, rather unfortunately, I was wrong. In order to avoid being a spoilsport, I won't give away any plot details, but essentialy I found it repetetive of previous plotlines, it left massive plot holes with regards to various aspects and the whole 'Max- Fang or Dylan' concept is utterly infuriating and ridiculous, to mention but a few issues. Considering how pleased I was with the other books, moreso the first three, I almost get the impression that the whole book was ghost written with very little input from Patterson himself. The only reason I have begrudgingly given two stars rather than one is for the fact that yes, the book has its moments in terms of humour and relative substance, but only rarely throughout. I understand that this is my objective view of the book, but I struggle to see how any other fan of the series would be satisfied with the ending. I felt like crying after I finished it in sheer disappointment and disbelief. What was only a few days ago one of my favourite book series has now very much so fallen from grace due to the awfulness of this last plot, and I therefore would not reccomend the book to other Fans of the series.
