Review: I play the CD on my hifi and David Suchet’s voice is so rich toned, clear and great to listen to. Each day’s reading covers a lot of verses so at my first day’s listen, I repeated it three times. Tomorrow, I intend to listen to the daily portion three times in the morning and then another three times in the afternoon. As the bible says “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God”. This is one time you can’t be guilty of gluttony. This is a banquet served by a rich toned waiter! On the CDs, a lady’s voice announces the month like (my first day’s reading) “September the 20th” and the book and verses which is very helpful and makes it easy to go back to the start of the day’s reading. This is the best purchase I’ve made on Amazon.

Review: It would be very helpful were there to be a clear index of book, chapter and verses with each cd so one knows what is there. Voice, diction etc is superb - even makes genealogical lists sound interesting!
