Review: This is a really beautiful book which teaches very young children about seasons, friendship and the circle of life. some of the reviews I have read sais that the rhyming which Julia Donaldson is famous for is missing but when I have reaad this with my 4yr old I found that you can re-connect with the rhyming if you get your child to remember the message and tell you what it should have been on each occassion. My little one loved this particapation. I was unsure before I bought this book but now I can not recommend it highly enough....everyone needs to read this book!Follow the Swallow (Blue Bananas (Egmont Press))

Review: I was highly disappointed with this book. I attended to read to a whole class of children but the book itself is very small, disappointing. Secondly there seems to be no actual point to the story and the storyline (such as it is) is very weak. The characters in the book have no depth and the dialog is very poor and jumps for topic to topic. Some of the words rhyme however the majority does not, which makes for an uneven reading flow. Overall I would say I have never read a book so poor in a long time.
