Review: This book is brilliant, and even if you’ve got any of Neil’s previous books, this is a must-read. It explores Jesus’ teachings more deeply and widely than any of his previous books, and relates them profoundly to our current times. The book weaves together a lot of authoritative detail, such as expanded explanations of the sound-meanings of key words, and the turbulent social/political context Jesus lived in, to give us a vivid and coherent picture of what Jesus was really teaching, and how we can draw from it. This is helped by a series of short Contemplations, which can help us to embody and apply key teachings.

Review: At looking at the info about this book I was led to believe that it contained the Aramaic words of Jesus and what the translation would and should has been instead of what we have. What the book is about is breathing exercises and contemplation meditation. Very disappointed but glad I got it on a discount. beware before you buy.
