Review: I've been using these comprehension books for the past year. They really do get to the bottom of what the question is asking of the student. I really like the unique format of breaking down the questions into the various styles expected from the national curriculum. (Which is often not found in other books.) This has been particularly helpful for my child, and has helped to de-mystify questions and enable him to tackle the question in a structured way rather than 'a stab in the dark' way. This approach has also helped me to explain more clearly where to begin when the question is difficult, based on the question style. My child can now identify a question based on how it is worded, and knows how to find the answer. His skills have really improved. The texts are also varied and in digestable sizes (which may be too short for children working at greater depth.) Ollie the Owl is also on hand to help and give clues. I also love that the answers are online, and not in the back of the book, it avoids cheating, and makes it a lot easier to mark. I just refer to the downloadable file each time in a flash. All in all a really great resource.

Review: Good quality book with lots of colourful images. However, this book does not have the answer so I have found it from Scholastic website, (it was total 20 pages to print out ). It was inconvenient but at least I have got the answer.
