Review: I have been studying Italian for about two years. I have bought Italian novels but struggled a bit with the dictionary because the sentence construction is so different. This is the first parallel text book that I have bought and I foumd It a great help because the stories were short and interesting I was able to take my time to absorb the italian text before giving up and moving to the English. A great help and a good read anyway

Review: I bought this together with the kindle version as an aid to familiarising myself with the language. The paperback serves it's purpose well enough but the kindle version fails in some respects. Whereas the p/b has the translation instantly available on the opposite page the kindle version does not. Although it is clearly not possible to have two complete pages screened at the same time, there are two methods by which the convenience of the p/b could be achieved on the kindle. The top half of the page could contain one language with the other beneath or each language could occur on alternate pages allowing the reader to turn two pages for continuation or one page for a translation. I think that either would be achievable and useful. Another problem I encountered was that although I have selected an Italian dictionary as the default which works satisfactorily on other Italian works it fails when reading the kindle version.
