Review: This is a great book. High quality hard back with engaging pictures. The story empowers children so that they know their actions can change the world. Themes of leadership and collaboration come though. Obstacles are overcome and beaurocracy navigated. Some positive and inspiring messages. Best of all a great story, which my 4 year old likes to read at bedtime BV again and again. Very well done! We have gone on to buy more in the series....

Review: The rhymes could use some improvement. A couple times I felt like the writer got lazy with stuff like “…went to school solo, but it wasn’t the same without her abuelo”. I’m sure a skilled wordsmith such as Eminem could make the rhyme pop but i sure can’t. Also some of the rhymes were timed in a clunky way that doesn’t flow as effortlessly as you’d like but overall it’s a great book i will be reading our daughter for as long as she’ll let me.
