Review: A very interesting book written from an in-universe point-of-view, complete with a forward 'by' a Bith artist, an interesting take on Mas Amedda's PR scandal, the monitoring of chassisplasts (bumper stickers) by COMPOR during the Clone Wars, and a poster featuring Dooku as he's portrayed in the Clone Wars as an example of 'Republic artists exaggerating his patrician features for effect.' LoL. Lucasfilm has a real gem in Pablo Hidalgo; his knowledge is vast and his eye for detail wonderful. His treatment of the Jedi is sympathetic but he doesn't shy away from pointing out where they could have done better about managing their own image, versus having a narrative crafted for them by the likes of Palpatine and their naysayers. Great fodder for meta. I really hope they continue making books like this. Oh, and the posters that come with the book are great!
