Review: Great little book! Explains loads of cooking techniques to get the perfect burger. Not tried making the buns yet but going to give it a go soon. Like all of DJ BBQ’s books, it explains how to set up the grill and the different ways that the coals can be stacked and placed to creat different cooking techniques. The recipes are easy to follow and although I have yet to try them all, I can already see that I will like them. I use his cook books a few times a week and I have never tried one of his recipes and disliked it. (We bbq a lot regardless of weather) The book is written in a jovial and familiar way that is entertaining to read. Like his others this is an invaluable guide which I will be regularly using!

Review: Ok, so this is a gorgeous looking book. The print quality, pictures etc are stunning. However, this is literally just a book telling you what are nice combos for a burger. I was expecting more, I don't know why, and while there is a nice recipe telling you what cuts to ask your butcher for to make a tasty burger patty, that's pretty much as far as it goes. If you want a book to tell you how to make ridiculously sized burgers with different combinations of tasty toppings, then get this. But I'm personally not impressed that over 90% of the book is literally just topping suggestions
