Review: I listened to the Audio and also read the book. Andre is a very funny man. You just have to listen to the Audio to hear his voice throwing a multitude of quips and poison darts (like him saying about Karl Lagerfeld -"A fat man is always a fat man on the inside, no matter how skinny he becomes on the outside.” (This is a reference to Karl secretly eating bread). This book is also a tragic look at the fashion industry from a man who rose to his highest heights only to be cast out when he got heavier and older. Must admit was looking for more gossip on Anna Wintour, but she really came out good in this book. Good book and recommended

Review: Although I enjoyed this book it is a little repetitive, and often rambles on off topic. A lot of racism and white privilege throughout. I don’t think I learned a huge amount of Andre although he does mention personal details regarding family. Beautiful pictures at the end
