Review: I loved this book. I've been trying for years to put together a capsule wardrobe...in fact it's become a bit of a family joke as my wardrobe seems to expand every time I attempt it. I also feel that I've lost something of my own style in the process. Whilst the French style is chic, dare I say that, I also find it a bit boring. Anyway this book has helped me to rediscover my own sense of style and surprisingly I have many of the right 'ingredients' already in my wardrobe just waiting to be put together differently. I'm also holding off buying the missing 'ingredients' until I find the right ones...I will no longer compromise on quality, fit and comfort. Like with all good formulas, they seem obvious once you've read them, but I think this book will make a huge difference to how I will shop, look and feel from now onwards. And hopefully the capsule wardrobe jokes will end ????

Review: I have tried several books along the lines of "shake up your wardrobe and look better" but this wins. be prepared for a long process of really analysing what you wear (daily selfies) and why - to figure out current situation; then looking at what you'd really like to wear; then trying it all on to see if it suits you (more selfies). I haven't got to the end of the process yet (I hate shopping and trying on clothes) but I am much clearer in how I look now, what I want to look like, and what suits me.
