Review: Lego today is a well known and a famous commodity world wide. Not only does Lego cater for children, but more recently also for the 18+adult market. Where does Lego come from? How did it all start out, come to be? I think its important to know the challenges, sufferings, set backs the original owners experienced. If it was not for them, Lego would never have existed today. This book gives an excellent explanation of how the plastic toy we all love so much, came into existence. Photographs from the original archives are included to give us a better understanding. As an AFOL, I am happy to have read this book. Everytime I now build my Lego, I give thanks to those early pioneers for their sacrifices, patience and endurance. In conclusion: I can highly recommend The Lego Story book. Well worth buying and reading. Lego today, is now owned and managed by the 4th generation of the family. I would like to express all my gratitude and heartfelt thanks to them for having continued and built upon the original foundations their forefathers had left for them.

Review: It is very detailed and I am sorry to say a tad boring. I did not know much about Legos and this book tells the story. However, for a best seller it is easy to put down and do something else. Enter with caution.
