Review: Great book, but of course it is because it's done by Michael morpurgo, especially for little kids. Three stories, one about the headmasters marble crusher, another about grandad's old barn and the barn owls, and the last about the conker king of jubilee park and old station. I would say the age range who really should read this book range from six to ten year olds.

Review: I have given this book 3 stars because each story is different yet they are all linked because each one is about animals,I liked that.I would enjoy this cool more If there was a bit more adventure like Michael Morpurgo`s previous book the nine lives of Montezuma.however this book was very enjoyable and a fit`s in nicely with Michael Mopurgo`s collection of fiction books.
