Review: I've always wanted to draw but was told, many years ago, that you needed to have artistic ability and as most of my friends could draw I never really considered the possibility that I might be able to learn. Then I stumbled on Stephanie Bower's book 'Understanding Perspective' and soon after enrolled on her Blueprint course 'The essientials of Sketchings Architecture'. 101 Sketchings Tips is an amazing book and an excellent companion to the aforementioned course. Apart from the advice to budding artists the contents is a joy to behold and has introduced me to the work a great many artists that were previously unknown to me. If you're concerned about the ridiculous remark made by a previous reviewer that there are no women represented in this book then don't be...or are Stephanie, Sue, katie, Angela, to list but a few actually boys names? This book and the other above mentioned have put me firmly on a very absorbing pastime. Highly recommend.
