Review: I absolutely love this book. The story is really imaginative and very original. Bought this for 3 year old grandchild who is going through a 'dragon' phase. She knows most of the traditional fairy tales which really helped. I mention this as had she not known these characters from the other fairy tales the story would have had less of an impact. The whole book is based on the assumption that the child reading it knows of these other stories and characters. Definitely consider this before you purchase. The illustrations are big and colourful, and help to move the story along. Useful if you're reading with a child with a short attention span. Needless to say, grandchild loved it. It kept her attention til the end. Also worth mentioning is the quality of the book. It looks and feels well made so should tolerate regular use. It's a big thumbs up from me.

Review: I am disappointed really. The artwork and textured cover are lovely but the story was lacking in my opinion. It seemed like it was building up to something then it was over very quickly. My son wasn’t really interested in it either normally he asks for every book to be read again but this one he didn’t. Disappointed as i liked the idea of the book.
