Review: This is a great read and the company behind this are fantastic. When I noticed the first signs of dyslexia in my son, I jave to admit I was despairing at the thought of how difficult school and the future might be for him. This book and following the authors on social media has really helped me to reframe what I thought about dyslexia and I have been able to pass this on to my son. So when we talk about the things he finds difficult at school we can have a positive and affirming conversation. Thank you!!

Review: Firstly, it’s fantastic that such books are being published to ensure a wider understanding of dyslexia is available and accessible. However the book is flooded with scan codes, which I’m not interested in. It’s very repetitive in various statements throughout, and it doesn’t provide the deep learning I was hoping to attain. Additionally, it’s frustrating to find a number of typos (which makes my dyslexic brain go wild, as I can’t work out if I’m reading it wrong, or it’s just written wrong!) inconsistencies in capitalisations (maybe I’m missing something here? Just seems unnecessary). This may be an editor problem moreso, just surprised to see this, especially in a dyslexia book! There certainly are other books available that are arguably better value, such as “the dyslexic advantage”.
