Review: Bought all three books in this series for my father as a Christmas present. I didn't read the description well enough or the reviews, as they are children's books. My mistake and my Dad still wanted to read them so as long as he get some enjoyment from the tale they were worth the buy. UPDATE!!!! Jan 2nd, 2014 - I talked to my Dad today and asked if he had looked at these books yet or ready any of the first one...he has already read all three and enjoyed them very, very much!! He said they were great stories and very factual based on all the other Titanic books he had read over the years, my Dad is 83 almost 84, so he has read a few! He really like the story portion as apposed to it just being data.

    Price: £15.99

Description: Much has been written about Titanic, the British passenger liner that sank on her maiden voyage after a collision with an iceberg in 1912; however, until now little mention has been made about the intricate world of the ship's complement, which comprised more than the total of third-class passengers alone. Titanic researcher Guenter Bäbler examines in detail the working structure of the crew, including the complex arrangement of the engineering department and information on tips, salaries and hidden bonuses, while each of the 899 crew members on board is mentioned. This valuable study breathes life into the forgotten but significant story of the ship and its relationship to its crew, of whom over 75 per cent died when Titanic sank. • Waterstones 11:40

    Price: £30.00

    Brand: Waterstones

Description: From the moment the iceberg was spotted to the moment Titanic's fate was realised, it was a race against time for the 2,208 souls on board. At 11:40 p.m. on 14 April 1912, Titanic collided with an iceberg in the middle of the North Atlantic. Less than three hours later, it had disappeared completely beneath the waves. From the second the iceberg hove into view, the ship was on a collision course with destiny, those on board embarking on a race against time to inspect the damage and determine their fates. 11:40: Analysis of Evasive Manoeuvres & Damage Assessment on RMS Titanic is a comprehensive new study that breaks down and forensically analyses every event on that fateful night, order by order, moment by moment. With the backing of an exhaustive collection of both historical and modern data, along with over twenty years of personal research, Brad Payne separates fact from myth, revealing the truth about what really happened on board Titanic during its critical last moments.

Description: From the New York Times bestselling author of The Unteachables, Gordon Korman, comes a hilarious new high-concept friendship story in the vein of Back to the Future. Perfect for fans of Korman's Restart. Mason and Ty were once the very best of friends, like two nerdy sides of the same coin. until seventh grade, when Ava Petrakis came along. Now Mason can trace everything bad in his life to that terrible fight they had over the new girl. The one thing he'd give anything for is a do-over. But that can't happen in real life | ??can it? As a science kid, Mason knows do-overs are impossible, so he can't believe it when he wakes up from a freak accident and finds himself magically transported back to seventh grade. His parents aren't yet divorced and his beloved sheepdog is still alive. Best of all, he and Ty haven't had their falling-out yet. It makes no logical sense, but Mason is determined to use this second chance to not only save his friendship (and his dog!) but do other things differently | ??like trying out for the football team and giving new friends a chance. There's just one person he'll be avoiding at all costs: Ava. But despite his best efforts, will he be able to stop the chain of events that made his previous life implode?.
