Review: From Usborne Publishing, this book is part of a series, with each title further enhanced by the little yellow duck 'hiding' on each page ~ the youngest children love to find it on every turn, in my experience. Also, the books have a familiar feel, often with the presence of characters from the other titles in the series, further aiding recognition skills and confidence building. The colourful cover opens to good quality, numbered, shiny finish pages, in double page spread format with endearing illustrations throughout and 2 sturdy fold-out flap opportunities. Simple text with plenty of repetition of words, e.g.: 'Frog sits on his log by the bog. With one big hop, he jumps over the bog. Off he goes! Frog likes to jog. "I'm a jogging frog from the log by the bog."....' ...and so Frog's day continues with his log and the bog...as other creatures come and go!
