Review: This is a fun story about a vet called to a spooky vampire castle to tend to injured monsters. It's a really funny little story, and the kids start out a bit scared of the monsters and then go "awwwwww" when they find out they're hurt and need some hugs. The book is in the first half of the First Reader series, so there's still a lot here that requires an Adult to read along with a kid.. .But once the kid gets really good at reading, they can take all the text and just read it by themselves. The artwork is great and the book is fun.. A lovely little introduction for early readers to some bigger words.
