Review: I loved this series since you get to see how the clans formed. In the book, you get to see tribe cat Gray wing's point of view. The book arrived in time and is absolutely flawless!

Review: Yes - along with millions of others. I'm happy to see the new series coming into print. Prequels they are, but it's going to be very interesting to find out about the forming of the clans as we know them. This latest adventure from the Erin Hunter team is great for the Warrior addict, but perhaps lacking a little on the storylines, and the ending is somewhat abrupt. The only thing I didn't like was the horrific outcome of the cats v eagles encounter, whilst they were en route to what was to become their new home. This series of books is predominantly for children. I think it could have been dealt with a bit more subtlety, bearing in mind that the children who read these books are animal lovers and as likely as not, cat lovers in particular. That incident was enough to give any such child nightmares for months! Couldn't we remember to let children be protected during childhood? Naturally, nasty things happen in the real world, but they don't have to be so graphic! It would have been much more acceptable had the cat died before the final horror!
