Review: I love this book. It's witty, lighthearted and informative. It not trying to give you everything you'll ever need to know as a Wiccan, but it's perfectly aimed at a beginner, telling you everything you need to get started and find your own way. Which is the most important thing. There is some history and background, and descriptions of the basics to get started with pathworking, rituals, spells etc. Not prescriptive on what you have to do, just empowering you to walk your own path. I've already gone back to some good bits to guide me, and am going to read it through again from the start. Thanks, Thea! You're a star!

Review: the areas covered are well thought through with connections to references covered in other chapters of the book , so it is quite easy to gather information needed for a budding pagon or wiccan , fortunately most of it comes from a neutral gender perspective as i have found some publications can be heavily from a female perspective.
