Review: Beautifully laid out large but light weight book. Beautifully illustrated with colour photographs through out. The only problems I have found with this book is that when it says it is a National Geographic Kids book it appears to mean about 7 - 12 year old (ish). Not as in depth as I was hoping for - but then given who it turns out this book is aimed at I am not so surprised. The Atlas side of this book is informative for younger readers but does not include all countries for example New Zealand is not mentioned at all. The animal information side gives brief basic details of key species. Over all a good first animal atlas for mid-aged kids.
