Review: Really good read. Liked the fact that it's multiple short stories so you could easily pick up and put down.

Review: This book answers an array of questions from “tiny mortals about death” covering topics such as burial practices (Will the feet be sawn off if someones doesn’t fit in the casket?), the biology of decomposition (What does a corpse smell like?), and moral pondering (We eat dead chicken, then why not dead humans?). The author answers these questions candidly and with great humour. The answers seemed well researched, and I learned quite a lot from reading this book, even though I had read a few books about forensic science before. I also quite liked the illustrations that add to the funny and slightly morbid vibe of the book. I applaud the author for writing this book and specifically aiming it at children. Death is such a taboo in our culture that this almost seems to cross some boundary. Therefore, it is very encouraging to see that the book is so well written. I really enjoyed reading it and hope that many tiny mortals pick it up.
