Review: bought this book as i was looking for asian style dishes. i have tried many of the recipes from this book so far and i must say that i am not disappointed. all of the dishes that i have tried so far always left me wanting more, and i am definately going to continue cooking from this book and will go back to several of the dishes that i have tried so far. the only downsides to this book are 1) the preparation time which can be rather long for some of the dishes (maybe this time can be reduced if you have a good food processor to do some of the chopping for you), and 2) the section on appetizers and soups is too long and i would have prefered to have more recipes for main dishes. this last point is only my own personal view though, as i am not a big fan of making appetizers and i don't particularly like soups in general, so these sections are a bit wasted on me. but then again, they will probably be of great value to people who actually do like soups and appetizers, so it's not really a flaw of the book per se. i really like this book and am now looking into buying GR's book on indian recipes too.
