Review: The characters from all different countries are being directed to the same destiny however is always fun to see that even if is the same fate the one they are following; Depending the country they are from is the direction they are looking. Semi Spoiler: If you were hoping the things that were gathering in previous books finally explodes on this one, I'm afraid that still not going to happen but the thrill on this one is high and there is no doubt in my mind that the next book would be bombastic... literally

Review: Youjo Senki is inarguably one of the most unique and complex stories out there, with moral debates against god's, the horrific cost of war and the effects of nationalism being mixed with hilarious misunderstandings and the singular character of Tanya Von Degurechaff. And still, I do not recommend you buy this book. Fact is, reading this is not enjoyable. The translation often repeats words, hardly uses synonyms and starts most sentences the same way. Add to that bad pacing (thanks to the tl were stuff tends to stretch, except when information is shared, which is far to compressed.) And worst of all, this book can't even get first and third person right!!! I know that in Japanese you can use your own name to refer to yourself as but having Tanya switch between I and She IN THE SAME CHAPTER is horrible. And don't come with the excuse that Tanya speaks in third person about herself because she has not accepted herself as Tanya. Ignoring of course, how much of a massive damned plotpoint and character development was her acceptance of herself as Tanya, after Brest. Chapter 60 of the manga for those who are curious and don't want to fight themself through the pacing of the first three novels)
