Review: This is the first Lucky Luke book, from 1949. You wouldn't want to start here as an intro to the character, but for a fan, like me, this is simply wonderful. Goodness me the character drawings are so different, however even during this book development seems to be taking place. Some aspects of the Luke we know are there, love between him and Jolly Jumper, his horse, his shooting skills, and a cast of wonderful bad buys and hangers-on, and the "heapum big" Indian language, John Blackburn has spoken, There are two stories, one with Dick Digger and another where Luke has to cope with a doppelganger. It is the action and fighting scenes which to me appear to age the book mostly, they appear slow and static, but overall it was a great read and a must for fans.

Review: WELL I don't know how 2 express my feelings to u beloved people, but the pics in the book don't look the same as the other lucky lukes. But times have moved on since the last issue and the drawer must have had a change in taste poor guy.
