Review: I have read all the Belgariad and the Mallorean books as well as Belgarath the Socrcerer. This books covers a lot of familiar ground but from Polgara’s viewpoint. Thoroughly enjoyable. All of these books are so good that I have read them many, many times. Sometimes I wish I hadn’t read them so that I could get the extra enjoyment one gets from reading something for the first time!

Review: As always Eddings provides a well rounded experience. If the exploits of Garion, Polgara, Belgarath and the rest of the fantasy adventurers grabbed your attention during the Belgariad & Malloreon series, then Polgara the Sorceress will give you am insight into many of the preceeding events that only get a brief mention in the run up to Garion and Eriond's challenges. A good read, great to pick up the book and escape the pressures of the day. I Would recommend this book to all.
