Review: A wonderful finish to a great series. They're books have always been full of humour. I would recommend any books by these authors.

Review: I bought the set of 4 books, as I have read (and re-read) lots of David Eddings books before and always enjoyed them. But I get the sense that this was cobbled together and churned out quickly with very little thought. The plot is weak and extremely simplistic, and is just laughably bad in places. The character development is superficial, and the interplay is totally inadequate. As a lover of Eddings' previous work, I am so disappointed.
