Review: Very well written as is virtually all of his, (and wife's), novels

Review: Absolutely beyond awful. I have bought and read every David Eddings book since I was 12 and that is 30 years ago. Many of his books or series i read again and again, just simply not the case with this particular 4 book series. I read this one and even though it was slow to start, I gave it the benefit of the doubt as after all it is David Eddings. But they simply just get worse and worse. The books recap and reword the same events over nd over again, then tell the same accounts from different character views which are all the same if not just slightly reworded. You get the feeling this whole series of books started as a mildly entertaining single book then someone stepped in and padded it out to 4 books. So disappointing after the brilliance of all his previous work. This review is quite simple, dont buy them you wil be greatly disappointed.
